It is a tool used to limit how much voltage the map sensor can send to the ECU. (The higher the voltage the less timing and more fuel the ECU has the car running.) A example would be that on a Stage 2 car you might clamp the voltage so the ECU only see's 17 Psi of boost, but you are really running 19 psi. So the ECU is running the motor off the fuel table, and timing preset in the ECU for 17 psi. At 17psi you are running more timing, and less fuel. So now you might be at 11.0 A/F ratio VS. 10.

No. I can not preset the Map clamp in anyway. All cares are diffrent. Each clamp needs to be tuned on the car.

Fill Power is a measurement of the quality of down products. Fill power is determined by placing 1 ounce of down in a glass tube. It is compressed, the weight is removed, and then the down is allowed to loft for 72 hours. The space the down occupies is measured in cubic inches. Yes, the part must be free to deform correctly so the strain readings are correct. The part should be clamped away from the cut and strain gages.
