Any type of print may be submitted up to 11x14 in size as long as it started life as analog/film/plate/photogram based. The idea is to show your best work to the rest of the APUG community. Prints and mounts are subject to some wear from handling and shipping. Work that is mounted and placed in a close-fitting clear acrylic sleeve seems to hold up the best. Unmounted prints are at greater risk, obviously.

Internet Explorer - First, you must instruct IE to ignore font sizes that the web page's creators have specified. To do this, pull down the "Tools" menu and pick "Internet Options." There, choose "Accessibility Options." Then, check the boxes labeled "Ignore font styles specified on Web pages" and "Ignore font sizes specified on Web pages." Select "OK" in the dialog box and again in the "Internet Options" dialog box. This will return you to the page you were viewing.

Please ensure that photos are saved in .jpg format and are of good quality. If you send a poor quality photo we may have to get in touch with you and this may delay your order. They should be no more than 2MB and portrait. If posting a photo a standard 6" x 4" is fine. We may have to crop images if they are not the right size so photos with the subject/s in the centre are the best. If you are at all unsure please email your photo to us for assessment.

The acceptable file types are JPEG, TIFF, TGA, and PSD. The file should be at about 300 dpi but please limit files to less than 4 MB.

The type of pouching system that was used in the hospital may need to be changed as the healing process takes place. Your stoma may shrink and may require a change in the size opening of your pouch. Your lifestyle may necessitate a change of the pouching system after a recuperative period. Make an appointment with your ostomy nurse to evaluate your management system. Check the pouch occasionally to see if it needs emptying before it gets too full and causes a leakage problem.

If large prints are what you want, large prints are what we make. We can print up to 53" wide in either Dye or Pigment ink, and with lengths dependent on the length of the media, even as long as 200'. For a trade show booth or similar use, images can be tiled in the width. Therefore any size is possible allowing for a break every 53".

The better the photo, the better the ID. It is important to send a clear, well-lit and focused photo. 35 mm, Polaroid, and passport photos all work fine. Your head should be approximately 1.5" x 1.5" square in size or larger. DO NOT cut the photo to size, we will scan your photo and fit it to the ID. NO vacation photos or candid shots. If you have the capability to send a photo via mail, you may also do so.

Once you have completed your Finished Layouts, you can choose to either open each layout directly into PhotoShop for further image correction or enhancement. Once completed,we recommend you save the layout as a PSD file to a nominated folder on your hard drive. Then Flatten the Layers and save as a Tiff or Jpeg ( depending on your personal output requirements or Photo lab recommendations ) and save to another folder. Copy this folder onto a CD or FTP to your lab.

A 3" x 5" or 4"x 6" photo works well. It is always best to send a slightly larger photo that we can reduce, rather than a very small photo that we have to enlarge.

Most Mount cards can be used with 4x6 or 3x5 size prints. Shutterfly only offers 4x6 prints at this time and are sold separately. Either adhesive or tape tabs for mounting photos is included with the mount cards.

Our maximum print size is 1m wide (approx 40"). Please read the following notes on the printer's limitations and how your files were originated. We can print to any length. We use a 44" Epson printer. This means that the maximum that you will get on one side will be 40". This is to allow for a border or margin of about 2". In order to not to distort your image when we enlarge it, we must maintain the 'aspect ratio'. This means we need to enlarge the picture to it's original proportions.

Print image size usually depends on what format it was shot on. With medium format they usually range from 16x20 up to poster size. My B&W infrared photography is in 35mm format that only allows print size up to 11x14.

There is no limit to the size of print that we can produce. Our in-house equipment is capable of producing prints that are 44" wide by 100' long! However, we can produce multiple panels and install them on a wall as one, seamless image. So, if you have a conference room wall that is 12 feet by 16 feet, we can fill it with an aerial image! Since we produce our prints in-house, we control the quality.

Color laser printing leaves a small border around the edge of your page, so please remember to allow for an unprintable margin (.25" on all four sides). The print is 11"X14" on high matte glossy paper and is framed with a mat for a total size of 16"X20". This size is usually perfect for most decors and is not too big or too small.

Absolutely - all Shabby Princess designs are created at a high quality resolution so that you'll be very pleased with your final print. I find that one of the main reasons many paper scrappers are hesitant to try digi scrapping is because they are so used to having BIG pages to put in their albumsand do not want to lose that! I'm with ya! I HAVE to have my pages printed - LOL! I scrap in 12"x12"occasionally creating an 8x8 or 6x6 gift album.

No, canvas prints are only available in sizes 16 x 20 and above. Any less than that really wouldn't do the print justice.
