The R. Fraser Elliott Hall is a traditional European horseshoe-shaped auditorium. The horseshoe shape allows for better intimacy with the performers and better acoustics.

The stage floor, hall floor, box dividers, and the back of the chairs are made of wood. The ceiling, back walls, and balcony facing are made of plaster. Again, this combination has been determined to be the best for acoustic quality.

Currently the maximum number we can seat in the hall is 160. It is sometimes less due to different configurations of the seating.

Justin Clayton is probably the most significant of all of the people Julian has worked with time wise... Justin is Julian's best friend and has co-wrote several songs with Julian as well as backed Julian up on the first four albums and played on the 5th. The photo to the left graced the cover of several singles for the Help Yourself album and shows Justin on guitar behind Julian. Justin toured with Julian on every tour with the exception of the 1999 tours.

After winning Adonis 2004, Justin Bruening only finished 9th this year. I really think this happened for two reasons: 1) he had double the competition from his own show with James Scott and Aiden Turner; and 2) voters just wanted to spread the wealth and let someone else win for a change. I know from voter comments that Mr. Bruening is still absolutely LOVED.

In the mid-seventies he plead guilty to a misdemeanor related to an inappropriate money transaction with the federal government. This was acknowledged as bad judgment; full restitution was made and all charges were dropped.

All our tickets are numbered so please sit on the seat shown on your ticket. Seats are allocated working from the front to the back of the auditorium. Booking early will enable you to have a choice if you want a specific location. If you are bringing children to the pantomime, booking tickets early will ensure they are closer to the front!

Yes, the whole audience circulation area from pavement to auditorium is step free. Please advise the box office when booking so that they can allocate you a place at the end of a row, and so that our front of house team can remove the seat from that position in advance.

Yes, in all 20 ITS technology-upgraded auditoria and all media lite and media lite plus classrooms, at least one set of auxiliary ports exists that will allow you to connect the VGA video and audio outputs of your laptop or other source device through to the room's video projection and audio systems. However, for technical reasons, there is NO Aux LAN data connection available at this time in the auditoria.

The Auditorium and Learning Rooms are available for use by students, faculty and staff of the University. One-time class meetings, lectures, readings, and other events qualify for use. Specifically excluded are courses and/or events for an entire semester, except by waiver from the director of Leavey Library. The Auditorium is primarily designed to support events that require mutlimedia display, and secondarily to enhance campus life through educational and cultural events.

Because of the nature of large events and space availability, reservations should be made at least 30 days in advance, if not sooner. It is difficult for our office to give estimates for large events due to the many variables. The most accurate way to get an estimate is to submit a reservation request. A series reservation is a group of meetings that occur every week, or every other week, etc.

You will need a PC projector, an appropriate cable to connect the projector to your PC, a screen upon which to project, and possibly a peripheral card that allows your PC to connect to a second monitor (most laptop PCs already have this built in). We also recommend that a wireless remote control be included if the worship leader is the one controlling the presentation (the remote may need to be pre-programmed to imitate the PgDn and PgUp keystrokes on the PC).

Our auditoriums are large and typically we will have no problem getting your group all seated together. Should the Theatre Manager see that the movie is selling out or is extraordinarily busy, special arrangements may potentially be made. Check with the Theatre Manager for more information. We fully realize that it is important for the party group to enjoy the movie together.

Yes, but you must make sure the audio system will be able to handle a telephone input and deliver its audio at an acceptable quality. It is recommended that this set-up be tested before attempting to use it. Also, keep in mind that voice interactivity will be limited with this type of set-up.

Yes, but seat saving is not permitted. We cannot guarantee that your seat will be available upon your return. If the auditorium is full, please let the staff member at the door know you are leaving and plan to return. Where can I sit if I am in a wheelchair? There are wheelchair spaces designated along the top level of the East Building Auditorium. Guests may choose to leave their wheelchairs in the rear of the auditorium near the guard's desk and sit in auditorium seating.
