Frozen semen that is maintained in liquid nitrogen will stay in the same condition for hundreds of years. The reduction in fertility is done during freezing and during thawing. However during storage there is no real change in the quality of the semen. Always keep in mind that freezing semen can be done by many and preserving the fertility of sperm through freezing is only done by few. In general maiden mares have very high fertility.

You'll have to do your own experimenting to come up with the proper time and temps depending on the size cut for the potato. Typically you'll need to blanch for about 5 minutes at 350 degrees F or so. The internal temp of the center section of the fry has to reach 160 degrees F to slow the enzyme reaction that turns a raw potato black when frozen. To prepare an unfrosted cake for freezing, wrap in plastic food wrap, aluminum foil or place in a resealable plastic freezer bag.
