It is not recommended. Structurally it will be OK, but the gloss glaze will eventually show scratching.

Make sure not to graduate too quickly from a 180 file to the white block. Try using the white block buffer a little longer than seems necessary. Be sure to wipe all grit and dust from the nail and the 3-way buffer, as even the smallest amount of dust will prevent a high gloss. Cuticle oil may be helpful. There may be a slight color variation from batch to batch. Allow the polish to dry completely before you decide it doesn't match.

In California, concrete counters are allowed in food-service areas, but you should check with your local health department official first before starting any commercial project. Gloss and/or polished tiles offer no more issues of concern than an acrylic shower or bath. If you choose to use a gloss and/or polished tile in your shower (for reason of look, design, maintenance etc.) but are concerned about slip resistance when wet you might consider using a mat in or adjacent to your shower.

Some will also be more apt to stain, but we can impregnate the stone to improve performance - the denser stones will still be better.

Cory Products are special water base formulas designed for safe use on all high polish finishes.

Just adding something to paint may or may not eliminate pinholing. If the cause of the pinholing is that the paint drying too fast, then adding up to 1 pint of water per gallon may help. Another cause of pinholing is excessive film build, which causes solvent pop. The top layer of paint dries faster than the underside and this traps the solvents in the paint. As the solvent attempts to escape from the coating, it first causes a small blister and then the blister pops leaving a pinhole.

High gloss exterior tables are a custom ordered table and do require regular care and maintenance. The table should be cleaned weekly with non-abrasive soap and water. To remove minor scratches and to protect the surface, use 3M Perfect-It Polish applied with a soft polishing pad. When the table is not in use it should be kept covered with a water resistant breathable cover to protect it from the elements.

There is no warranty coverage by Carver, or the vendor of Carver, once the table is exposed to daily temperature changes. This affects wood when it naturally expands and contracts.
