How long does it take you to memorize new algorithms?

Cubefreak - Rubik's Cube, Speedcubing, Blindfold Cubing...
It will take a several weeks before you can use those algs without stopping to think. Just try and practice little by little (you don't want to get too addicted), and the algs should come to you naturally. It took me 2 months to master two step F2L & OLL and average sub-40, 3 more months to memorize full Fridrich and sub-30, and another 3 more months to be able to "see ahead" and use finger tricks and finally average sub-20. Yes, I did memorize the notation first.

How does RL relate to genetic algorithms?

RL FAQ
Most work with genetic algorithms simulates evolution, not learning during an individual's life, and because of this is very different from work in RL. That having been said, there are two provisos. First, there is a large body of work on classifier systems that uses or is closely related to genetic algorithms. This work is concerned with learning during a single agent's lifetime (using GAs to organize the components of the agent's mind) and is in fact RL research.

Typically you use a recipient public key to establish a cipher key, and then use the cipher key to encrypt the bulk of the message. The integrity of the message is assured by including a MAC of the message. The authenticity of the sender is assured by a digital signature and some certificates. You could look at something like SSL or S/MIME for an example, although these are not really good starting points for designing a new system.

In the live classes my style or approach could be called "familiarization". Class exercises are designed to target all aspects of the language separately. Hiding the page or covering the words is discouraged as this cultivates pausing, fosters speaking broken Spanish, and hinders versatility.
