Students coming to Boston are always concerned about housing. While NESOP does not offer housing facilities or dorms, we do everything possible to help our students find suitable housing. We refer you to online resources, connect you with other incoming students seeking roommates and steer you toward reputable realtors our students have worked with in the past. Rest assured, all NESOP students find appropriate housing. No one ends up living in the lab (though it might seem that way sometimes).

On Sunday, we leave Fitchburg High School and arrive at the Artesani MDC Park at approximately 3 PM. We will have a reception immediately following the ride in the park.

Free on-campus housing is included for the 10-weeks of the program. Boston Unversity typically houses all REU students in on-campus apartments in what is call "South Campus". South Campus is conveniently located in short walking distance to all Engineering buildings and labs. Apartment come in a variety of configurations (1, 2 or 3 bedrooms) and come furnished and include a kitchen.

Of course it is okay! In fact we have members from Maine to Rhode Island. While many activities do take place in the greater Boston area, members from all over New England join us when they are in town or for our trips which take them all over New England and the world!

If you have your surgery at the MGH Thoracic Aortic Center, we typically prefer to follow you after the surgery to make sure you blood pressure is optimally controlled and to carry out follow-up imaging studies (CT or MRI scans) of the remaining portions of your aorta.

Students are housed on or near the Bowdoin College campus in residence halls and apartments. Apartments are typically reserved for students aged 21 and over. Students living in residence halls eat at Bowdoin's award-winning dining hall. Students in apartments can either cook their own meals or purchase the meal plan.

Most of our artists can't really tour properly because it's not in their best financial interest, but if you're setting up a festival, contact the band to find out their availabilities or requirements. If you attend a university, find out who's in charge of on-campus performances because these generally will pay enough to be in an artist's interest.

If you are ordering live butterflies from East of the Rocky Mountains they will come from Florida, if you are West of the Rocky Mountains then they will be sent from California. Be assured that our butterflies are raised only by IBBA member breeders (butterflies which are raised in their natural environment and not in a warehouse). This ensures that they will be healthiest and most vibrant butterflies for release at your special event.

Most of the children living at Children's Home are referred by a state agency. First priority is given to children from Central Illinois, though some children come from across the state. Most children are referred by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, the Illinois Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities, the Illinois Department of Corrections, or an area school district or special education association.

Most of the primates in Monkeyland come from captive environments, mostly from zoos, and private homes where they were kept as pets. Generally primates and birds only bite if they have been provoked. For example trying to hug,tease or harm a monkey or bird may result in a bite. If you listen and abide by the rules of the forest you will have no problems.
