Yes. Campers may request a friend who is also in the same grade and both parties request each other. Our aim is to have all campers meet and make new friends at camp so we try to not put more than three from the same school in a cabin whenever possible.

While the youngest campers (ages 7 to 8) are first assigned to climate-controlled cabins, all cabins have ceiling fans and box fans. There is no way to guarantee a climate-controlled cabin space, as cabin assignments are made a week before a camper is scheduled to attend camp. Each camper will have some activities throughout their day in climate-controlled facilities. In addition, the dining hall and indoor activity areas are climate-controlled.

Campers may request cabin mates on the camper registration form, and we do our best to honor requests. We will try to place requested cabin mates together if they are the same age and gender. Both campers must request to be placed together.

We are happy to accommodate bunk requests, however, we limit the number of friends to a cabin to no more than 2 or 3. We want each child to have a positive experience at camp and do not want new campers to feel isolated. Our cabin assignments are carefully made to promote an accepting and inclusive atmosphere.

One, about the same age as the camper (preferably within one year). NOTE: We cannot guarantee that all cabin mate requests will be filled. Cabins are assigned by age and a cabin-mate with an age difference might feel uncomfortable. It could result in either a young camper in a cabin of older campers or vice versa. Cabins are officially designated 2-3 weeks before the session begins. At that time you should receive a color coded pass card that will confirm your camper's session, cabin, bunk, and check-in time.

If you have decided to go to camp with a friend, you can request that they be placed in the same room. We have developed several policies to enable your camper to share a room with a friend. Here's how it works: Each camper is allowed ONE roommate request. This must be done on the registration form at the time of registration. When you request a roommate, you are NOT requesting the same bunk. We do not reserve bunks, only rooms. You choose your bunk AFTER you check-in.

No. All prescription and non-prescription medications and vitamins must be turned into the medical staff at check-in along with directions on how to administer them.

If two campers are within one year of each other’s age, they can be placed in the same cabin, if requested. To insure that campers will also have the opportunity to meet new friends, we encourage only one “Cabinmate Request” per camper. It is unfair to the other campers in a cabin to have a large group who already knows one another placed together.

Campers can choose a maximum of two other campers to be in their cabin. Requested cabinmates need to be within one year of age of each other. We do group each cabin by age. Since each cabin has 24 spaces, there is a good chance that if your child and their friend are the same age that they will be together. However, we always give preference to first-time campers.

If two campers are in the same eidah (unit), they can request to stay in the same cabin with each other. If the request comes from both campers, we do everything we can to make sure the campers' request is honored.

We do our best to honor camper requests for a cabin mate, although we may not be able to accommodate request where more than 3 years separate the children in ages and where they are of the opposite gender.

The Camper vehicle you receive will be based on several factors: One is availability, another is by the number in your party, and if you can drive a stick shift. If you express a choice, we will do our very best to accommodate you. However, due to the great unknown/unforeseen powers that be, we cannot promise your request of camper choice.

When you register, you may request one or two friends as cabin partners. There is space for this information on the registration form. Both you and your friend should request each other. Please note that we will not honor requests for more than one or two friends. Some campers try to "chain" together a number of friends in an effort to get them all into the same cabin. If you do this, you will be disappointed.

Meals are served three times a day. Each meal is kid-friendly and well-balanced. Hot entrees are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast, a cereal bar, fresh fruit, and a variety of juices and milk are also available. For lunch and dinner, campers can help themselves to homemade soup of the day, a fresh salad bar, chicken or tuna salad, or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in addition to the daily selections. Afternoon and evening snacks are also provided during summer camp.

There are no guarantees that we will be able to match you, however you may make the request by indicating your friend's name and Western ID number on the Changes Form of your Offer of Housing packet. If your friend is admitted, applies for housing and requests you as their roommate prior to our assignments run, there is a possibility we may be able to pair you as roommates.

No. With over 400 players, it would be impossible to honor such requests. All players will be paired up at random, within your flight with the final round being sorted by scores, highest to lowest.

YES! We do our very best to insure your child can spend their summer with their friends. You will have the opportunity to formally request who your child is bunked with.

We arrange the pairings based on your Stroke Average. Per age group, the times are assigned as follows: The highest stroke averages tee off first, this group will either be a 2-some or 3-some. The lowest stroke averages tee off last and may be grouped as a 3-some or 4-some.
