A2.1 - i-Catcher Console is our multi-camera product, and as such does not have any cameras added to it by default, as it would be difficult to assume which camera should be used. Camera feeds can be set up via "Local Feeds". The options there can be used to add and configure as many cameras as your licence allows (255 for trial versions, 1 for demo versions, Full version licences are specified at time of purchase).

A video capture device that is compatible with QuickTime video capture. The performance and video input size will be dependent on your video capture device and the model of your computer. With A/V Macs or FireWire (this includes FireWire PCI cards) equipped Macs and beige-G3 Macs (and later) with a video capture card, you should be able to incorporate 640 X 480 video input.

A2.6 Due to change in the common components used by the i-Catcher products, this is not possible. If you do require both Sentry/Wildlife and Console on the same system, they should both be the same version.

Probably not. DScaler currently only supports the Brooktree/Conexant chipset (see previous question). Supporting others chipsets, while feasable, means some hard work and some solid knowledge of those chipsets. And unfortunately, no recent vga card with video-in feature includes Brooktree/Conexant chipset. Gx00, Asus Deluxe, ATI All-in-Wonder etc... are thus not supported for video input at the moment.

We don't recommend bringing video cameras, or even expensive still cameras, on trips. Many people bring disposable waterproof cameras, which work just fine. The quality of the pictures is reasonably good, and if you lose your camera, it's not the end of the world. A2.5 While i-Catcher Console is running (monitoring feeds) the Management button is disabled, as the process of determining disk space usage consume a lot of CPU time. To access the Management feature, stop i-Catcher Console first.

A3.1 - When connected to i-Catcher Console no stills are saved locally, therefore it would be pointless to offer playback. To access any stills that may have been recorded before i-Catcher was connected to i-Catcher Console, change the Connection settings to "Standalone".

Yes. We can provide clip-on bags that attach to the horse's saddle which will allow you to carry your camera. Video camera's can be carried in our saddle bags but it is not recommended as it is difficult to film while riding.

Well, I didn't use one, because I originally was planning to use the Coin 2 input for a dedicated PAUSE key as I said above. Also, the single coin button looked symmetrical on the panel. Very few games actually needed the Coin 2 input. The majority of (even 2-player simultaneous) games, will allow you to use Coin 1 and then the 1- and 2-player START keys.

No. Both the Professional and Personal comes with its own PCI card. The Pixera Camera itself generates separate Red, Green, and Blue information that yields much higher quality color than the chrominance/luminance information produced by normal video cameras. This higher color quality is in addition to the already improved resolution possible with the Pixera Camera.

A5.6 These cameras are network devices that use propietary protocols for delivering images to viewing clients. The specifications of these protocols are unavailable, so we are unable to provide support for them. In the case of Intellinet, we have reports that the latest camera firmware may support a standard JPEG output, which can be used with i-Catcher. Note that upgrading the firmware on your camera is an unsupported operation, and is undertaken at your own risk.

Most quality cameras have at least two input levels: "Mic" and "Line". Some also add another attenuated option or input ("Mic Att"). You should first start with "Line", then go to "Mic Att" and then to "Mic" until you get a proper level. Be aware though that preamps inside all non-pro cameras is the same for mic and line inputs. The switch or different inputs only add a pad in-line when you use them.

It is discouraged, but entirely possible. :) We put in the warning to discourage software ISVs from putting in services which stop boot to expect configuration of their software. That's hostile to other software running on the system, and is a nasty surprise to people who didn't configure their systems explicitly to do so. We didn't take away the explicit choice from folks who want to deploy their systems that way.

Well I like Playstation 2 the best and I think I also like GameCube, but PS2 the most. The problem wiht Nintendo is there are a few good games and a cheap price but not good enough games or graphics.
