I use logical repository mapping under CVSNT 1.11.1.3, but Eclipse complains. What's wrong?
Eclipse Platform - CVS FAQYou have set up relative mapping (repository prefix) under CVSNT, so that, for example, "D:\cvs\repo" maps to "/REPO". That means you should be able to use ":pserver:user@host:/REPO". However, CVSNT does not always communicate these paths to the client properly; in particular, Eclipse needs information for synchronization which is not included in this mode of operation.
Related QuestionsIs Eclipse/WSAD supported by CVSNT?
Faq - The CVSNT WikiIf Eclipse detects a CVSNT server it will refuse to connect. This is a decision by the Eclipse developers and not under the control of CVSNT. CVSNT servers since 2.0.35 have a flag which pretends to be a standard Unix server, so that Eclipse lets you in (you *must* use a repository prefix for this to work - Eclipse doesn't support drive letters). This method of operation is not supported officially by either the CVSNT or Eclipse developers. Since Eclipse 3.
Related QuestionsHow do I configure CVSNT to work with Eclipse?
CVS FAQ - EclipsepediaOut-of-the-box, CVSNT will not work properly with Eclipse. You need to configure CVSNT to act like a standard CVS server. In CVSNT 2.0.58d, the required setting can be found under the 'Compatibility' tab. Check 'respond as cvs 1.11.2 to version request'; stop and restart the service. You will also need to check the Emulate -n checkout bug option since CVSNT has modified the behavior of the 'cvs -n update' command which is used by Eclipse to perform synchronization.

If you extract it into a subdirectory (as WinZip's "Wizard Mode" will do if it is allowed to manage the extraction and/or execution of the archive) then the installation will not work. To resolve this problem, delete the first extraction and re-extract directly to the root of the drive, then run the setup.exe again from the root as required.
Related Questionsajc 1.0 complains that it can't find javac. What's wrong?
AspectJ Frequently Asked Questionsajc 1.0 does not try to locate javac in your path: it uses the javac classes directly. In JDK 1.2 and 1.3 these classes are found in tools.jar (in the lib directory of the JDK distribution), which must be on your classpath to make ajc work with javac. Inspect the java command that launches ajc to make sure that tools.jar is on the classpath for ajc; the -classpath option only applies to the sources compiled. Eclipse Platform - CVS FAQThe problem is that CVSNT (as of 1.11.1.3) only supports using the local connection method with network drives and Eclipse does not support this connection method (see above). Java Internationalization FAQSince the mapping from logical fonts to physical fonts is implementation dependent, the answer varies. For Sun's JRE 5.0, the easiest way is to install the font into the JRE's lib/fonts/fallback directory - it will be automatically added as a fallback font to all logical fonts for 2D rendering. For AWT, you may need to modify a font configuration file - see the web page Font Configuration Files. For earlier versions of Sun's JRE, you need to edit font.properties files - see the Font.

Frequently Asked Questions about LogicBy logical I am asking: (1) does God contradict Himself, and (2) when He says that something is true, then is it really true? By logical I do not claim that everything which God says must be understandable to us, so that we can explain it. The doctrine of the Trinity is an example of this.
