I own a laptop with an Operating System that supports ‘Moffice’. However, my computer does not recognize ‘Moffice’ once it is plugged in. When using Windows 98SE, It is necessary to install the driver file first before connecting ‘Moffice’ to the USB port. The first possibility is that you have not installed the driver (Windows 98SE only).

The Windows98SE driver will be on the CD that came with your player. Follow the instructions in the operating manual as to how to install it.

You can obtain the Windows 98 SE installation driver file for ‘Moffice’ from two different methods: Go to 'Download Drive' section to download the proper Windows 98 SE installation driver file. You will need to have WinZip in order to be able to extract the driver file.

Due to limitations of the Windows boot process it is not possible to boot Windows from an external Firewire or USB drive. It is possible to boot Linux from USB like live-CDs (eg. Knoppix) but if you do a search of this topic on the web you will find that this is not the case for Windows although some limited WinPE applications (e.g. Winternals ERD Commander) do boot from a CD.

Since NTFS support is Read-only, you can use either Ext3 or FAT32. Ext3 allows for better retention of file ownership and permission and may be more appropriate in a mult-user backup environment.

To install GenePattern, go to GenePattern Download and follow the instructions for your operating system. To uninstall GenePattern, use the utility provided as part of the GenePattern installation. This is a fairly common problem with the application upgrade process on Smartphones, for other applications as well as Facade.
