If you are printing PostScript then your printer must have the duplex printing feature turned on. Your file will duplex print and the Flip on Long Edge or Flip on Short Edge settings will be honored. If your printer has the duplex feature turned off, and you select a duplex option in your printer properties setup, then your file will not print on both sides of the paper but any flip option you've set will be honored.
