Why do you hate Canon?

Moose's Frequently Asked Questions
I understand that the D lenses offer advantages when used with flash photography and the newer Nikon speedlights. I am unsure if they offer much advantage with non-flash photography. However, I am wondering if the new RGB metering system in the F5 changes any of my understandings. This point seems to be confusing many people and is causing problems and confusion. For example, I am interested in the 75-300 zoom but it is not a D lens. I can wait if getting a D lens is worth it.

This question is rather hard to answer simply because owners seems to be divided, but most of them agree that you can easily get used to it. Some even claims that it is rather practical for sport photography. Big issue with the push/pull? It sucks dust right into your sensor

Canon" is a term used to describe the official material in a created universe or shared world. Where the meaning of a term or concept isn't clear, one refers to the canon. In some franchises, the canon is derived from a number of different sources, such as movies and/or TV series, novels, roleplaying sourcebooks, etc. As these are often written by different people there may be contradictions, which lead to disagreements over what is official or correct (what is canon).

Do you hate Muslims?

TheReligionofPeace - FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions
It never ceases to amaze us when an otherwise "normal" person ignores the very real suffering of the thousands of victims of true hatred and intolerance on our list and accuses us of being a "hate site" merely because we memorialize the plight of victims and call for an end to Islamic terror.

Do you hate God?

You guys believe there is no God, but you can't prove that there isn't. So being an atheist obviously requires at least as much faith as being a Christian.

Can I do something that contradicts canon?

Canon is still canon but of course your characters are allowed to try and change their future. For example, Percy might have married Audrey but maybe it's because Penelope Clearwater died (which we're not saying she did at this point.) If Penelope came back from the dead and he was still in love with her that might cause some trouble.

Why is exposure with my Canon flash system so unpredictable?

Digital Photography FAQ
Recent Canon SLRs use a system called E-TTL to determine flash exposure. (Newer models use E-TTL II, which seems to be more robust.) E-TTL is praised by some for allowing very precise control over flash exposure when used properly, but it is slammed by others for being too sensitive to very small changes in the center of the image and requiring too much planning to get proper "automatic" exposure. There is probably some truth in both positions.

Should we hate them?

No. They are temporary events. The USA Constitution is a genius code of strong and happy society , and we should insist them to obey the Constitution. We should love them and pray for them, and God will work miracles. Bloody Revolutions are terrorists' acts done by criminals, and they are hateful to God. The society never gains from it. We should obey the law, because it is a blessing to have a law and regulation in a society and it is a curse to have an anarchy and disorder.

Why do you hate everyone?

SnipeMe - FAQ
I don't hate anyone individually. People are mostly fine when taken as individuals, but when you put them all together you get this incredibly fucked up thing called "society." Society fucking sucks, but the trouble is you can't rid of it without killing everybody and that would just be dumb. So as long as society continues to be stupid, I will continue to be an asshole who bitches about it whether anyone cares or not.

What is a hate crime?

Generically, hate crimes may be defined as those offenses committed because of the actual or perceived status characteristic of another; or alternatively a crime where the motive is the actual or perceived status characteristic of another- usually, but not necessarily the crime's victim or target. Status characteristics are those material attributes, like race, common to identifiable classes of people that society recognizes through law, tradition or custom.

Why do I continue to smoke even though I hate the habit?

Frequently Asked Questions
All drug addictions work the same way. The drug fools your subconscious mind into thinking that you get a benefit from it. After he puts a cigarette out, the smoker experiences a gradual heightening of the withdrawal effect. The next time he lights a cigarette, the smoker gets very rapid relief from the withdrawal effects. Unfortunately, the subconscious mind is both not very good at spotting gradual changes, and very good at spotting sudden changes.

FAQ & Interviews - The Skeptic's Dictionary - Skepdic.com
I don't hate Amway. But I am still fascinated that the Amway entry in The Skeptic's Dictionary has been one of the most popular entries for more than a decade. I added an entry on multi-level marketing. I am not going to do separate entries for other MLM schemes, however. Not all MLM programs are created equal. Before getting involved in one I recommend you look at the Consumer Awareness Institute.

Do you hate foreigners?

United States v. Michael G. New :: Legal Documents
We do not hate foreigners at all. I have personally lived and worked in several different countries, have been "the foreigner," have experienced the antagonism of a few, and know what it feels like. My ancestors came here from England and Scotland, (and even one from France), so I see no reason to hate foreigners just because they are foreigners.

We don't hate women. In fact most of our members (and officers) are women. You might be surprised to hear that we consider ourselves feminists (in the true sense of the word--not the stereotypical depiction. Don't think that feminists can be pro-life? Check out the Feminists For Life.) We fight for rights for all women, especially those that are in the most dangerous place in America; where it is legal to kill women. That place is inside another woman's womb.

We don't hate PayPal. (Okay, maybe a little...) We were one of their earliest users, and we "toughed it out" like everyone else during those days. What we don't like is how they have treated us and others since those early years.

What is a non-canon character?

Frequently Asked Questions
A non-canon character is one that did not appear on the show and was invented by a fan fiction writer. Non-canon characters that recur in stories in only small, possibly comic relief roles are perfectly acceptable. Non-canon characters who appear in only one story and are never seen again are also fine. Writers need to "people" a story so the canon characters have someone to interact with.

What are the rules about canon characters?

Frequently Asked Questions
The main one is that they remain the same character they were in the show. That does not mean that you cannot expand them a little bit but basically they should be the same. Married characters should remain married. Single characters should remain single. Roy & Capt. Stanley were definitely married. Johnny, Chet & Marco were single. We are not completely sure about Stoker so that can be up to the writer. The characters at Rampart also appeared to be single.
