Our hammocks easily fit in these stands but may need a bit of extension rope or a small length of chain in order to hang properly. If you are looking to hang a hammock between two trees/posts, then 12 feet apart might be a target distance. All of our regular sized hammocks are around 13 feet long. To fit a tight spot, you can also tie a large knot with the white cords on the end of each hammock in order to shorten the overall length.
