Evaluation of transfer credits is completed through the Registrar in consultation with the Dean and Program Director. Placement of a student into a program is dependent upon the amount of transfer credit granted. Please note that a student must earn a minimum of 30 credit hours at Trocaire to be eligible for a degree. A student must complete 50% of his / her course work here to be eligible for a Trocaire College Certificate.

Official copies of college transcripts are required to conduct a transfer evaluation. We will do a transfer evaluation as part of the admissions process. If you would like to know what credits we will accept prior to applying, feel free to send your transcripts to the Office of Admissions. Kindly attach a letter with your name and contact information, as well as what program you are interested in. A transfer evaluation will be mailed to you within two weeks.

Transfer students will receive credit for college courses which are equivalent to those offered at Trocaire College. Only courses completed with a grade of "C" or better are acceptable for transfer. The acceptance of advanced credit is tentative until the student has completed one semester of satisfactory work at Trocaire.

Trocaire College has signed agreements with numerous four-year colleges and universities within the Western New York area and beyond our geographic region. The articulation agreement facilitates an effective transfer of credit for those students who wish to continue their education beyond an Associates Degree. Charter Oak has a liberal credit transfer policy. We will accept most credits that have been successfully completed at other regionally accredited institutions. This includes up to 90 semester credits from regionally accredited, two-year colleges. Exceptions include courses in physical education, freshman orientation, and developmental courses. If you are transferring to a Tennessee Board of Regents institution, then you are assured that your credits from Motlow will transfer. However, if you are transferring to an institution outside the Tennessee Board of Regents System, we advise that you check with that institution regarding the credits that you will want to transfer to them.

Answer: For students in the MS program only, you may, with our department’s approval, transfer up to six graduate credits from an accredited American university; courses would need to be evaluated by the department. Courses must have been taken within the last five years. Evaluation of courses would not be done until you have been accepted (matriculated) into our MS program. Students in the Advanced Certificate program may not transfer credits.

Generally yes, particularly if you complete an entire AA or AS degree program. There are two types of courses related to transfer--courses that are part of the ColoradoGuaranteed State Transfer Curriculum, and those that are part of our AA/AS degree programs, transferable on a program-by-program and case by case basis.

We do evaluate credits from other colleges and universities for possible transfer to our college. To have credits reviewed for transfer, you will need to follow these steps. Several factors will affect transfer of credit including where the coursework was completed, the grades received and the intended major at Oswego. The maximum number of credits that can be applied from a two-year college is 62 to 67; the maximum number from a four-year institution is 92 to 97. We have a rolling admissions policy; in other words, we review applications throughout the entire year. After we have received all of the necessary information, it takes about 4 weeks to hear back regarding acceptance.

Students have numerous opportunities to get involved at Trocaire through a variety of clubs, organizations, and extra-curricular activities to fit all interests and age levels. Answer: You may request to transfer up to 9 graduate credits from an accredited university. These courses must have been completed within the past 10 years. Approval is determined after evaluation by the Program Director and the Assistant Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the School of Health Technology and Management.

You first need to request your official transcripts to be sent by the previous institution to “Tidewater Community College, Central Records Office, 7000 College Drive, Portsmouth, VA 23703”. After being accepted into a specific program, you would complete an “Evaluation of Previous Educational Experiences” online form and submit it to Central Records.

We grant 1.5 quarter credits for each semester credit. (Multiply the number of semester credits by 1.5 for the number of quarter credits.) Students transferring from a school on the semester system will not lose credits; their credits are just expressed in a different way. One semester course is generally equivalent to one quarter course. Occasionally, two semester courses, taken in sequence may be equal to three quarter courses.

Your transfer credits are evaluated as soon as we receive all of your official transcripts (and, for fall-term applicants only, the advanced tuition deposit). A Transfer Evaluation Report, showing the number of credits transferred and course equivalents, will be sent to your mailing address before you meet with your adviser and register for classes. Your major adviser will complete an evaluation of your transfer work for major requirements.

Only course work credits transfer and not the grades. Only the courses you take at Fort Lewis College will be used in computing your Fort Lewis College GPA.

Western Washington University is a regionally accredited institution of higher education. Many students who enroll in the Emergency Management Certificate program use the certificate courses to fulfill undergraduate graduation requirements at their home institution. The receiving institution of transfer credits has the right to review the curriculum to determine the equivalency to courses they offer.

General Education courses that match those in the program will be considered for transfer. All requests for transfer of these courses are subject to the deans' approval.

Although each college has its own policies concerning transfer of courses and credit, colleges frequently enter into Transfer Agreements. A Transfer Agreement can save students time and money as they pursue their degrees. Transfer Agreements may take several forms, but they typically include dual admission agreements and/or core-to-core transfer agreements.

iSucceed Virtual High School is a public online high school. As such, assuming students satisfactorily complete their courses, credits will transfer back into other high schools. Summer courses are not yet available as part of our program. We’re looking into how we may provide those to our students in the future.

Students can be in 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade when they enroll. Generally speaking, students can apply high school credits or earned credits for homeschool work towards their graduation requirements at iSucceed. Students who enroll with a high school transcript or a homeschool portfolio will speak with an iSucceed Admissions Counselor who will evaluate satisfactory completion of the documented work as it relates to iSucceed standards.

Insight School of Oregon is a public online high school. As such, assuming students satisfactorily complete their courses, credits will transfer back into other high schools.
