Check your "from" address You are sending from the wrong email address. Communigate will only send messages to the list from valid subscribers and is blocking your posts. I feel this is wrong, as the list is primarily a discussion list, but the topic has been beaten to death, and the decision made. So if you want to send a reply to the list, make sure you change the To: field. On the other hand, do not "Reply to All". If you reply to both the poster and the list, the poster will get two copies, which is rather annoying.

If your mail client has a "Reply to List" feature, use that. Evolution has this in the Actions menu. Mutt has some features for handling mailing lists, including handling replies neatly. All other mail clients should have a Reply to All feature. Reply to All will make sure that both the author of the mail you're replying to and the list will get a copy of your mail. Double-check your To: and CC: fields before you send to make sure that slug@slug.org.

You will get a big dump of every variable that is set.

Click on the Out Box and see if anything is there waiting to be sent. Also click on the Sent Box and see if there is a copy of the message. Many of my users prefer to keep their email addresses confidential for obvious reasons. I mask the recipient's address from the header to preserve the recipient's identity.
