Mildert is about five to ten minutes minutes walk from the Main Library and Science site, and fifteen to twenty minutes walk from the Students' Union, lecture theatres and the town centre. It is a lot closer to the town centre than it appears on maps or the first time you walk up the hill!

We are just over half a mile from the town centre and beaches. Please note St. Ives is quite hilly and many of our guests like to walk downhill to the town and beaches and take a (very reasonably priced) taxi service back up the hill.

We are about 14 km from Cape Town city centre / Victoria and Albert Waterfront. This translates to roughly 25 minutes coastal drive.

There are approximately 1000 members of Van Mildert college, including postgraduates. About 300 freshers come to Van Mildert every year which means the college is diverse but by the end of your first year you will find you know a good proportion of your year.

There is room for over 500 students in college and about 150 ensuite rooms. There are no shared rooms in college, and at the very least students get a basin in their room if they don't have an ensuite room. All rooms have high-speed internet and the quality of accommodation is generally very good. Deerness and Tunstall blocks are almost brand new, and Tyne, Tees and Middleton blocks have just been refurbished.

One of the most common queries about college life is the quality of the catered food. How good it is depends on whom you ask, but all agree that it is of a considerably higher standard than many other colleges even though it does not provide a cooked breakfast every morning. Food varies from edible to very good, and menus will be on a 4/5-week rotation in 2005/6. Breakfast consists of unlimited self-service fruit juice, coffee, tea, cereals, toast and fruit from 8am to 9.30am.

It is very rare (and indeed, difficult) for students to change college - it is almost unheard of for a student not to bear the same college colours throughout their time at Durham. Van Mildert is by reputation Durham's most social college and students coming to Mildert ('Mildertians') are perhaps the most diverse in the University. Mildert students are to be found throughout the University, ringing Church bells, writing articles for the student newspaper, out clubbing, or at DSU Meetings.

Centrally located to The Mildura Plaza Shopping centre of 40 shops. Close to Bistro Tavern & Gaming room. Harvey Norman, Spotlight, Hungry Jacks & Subway. But not in the centre of town near night clubs or near noise, it will take you 5 minutes to go down town.

Guernsey airport is located approximately 20 minutes by road from St Peter Port and is serviced by buses operating to and from the terminal building.

The guesthouse is a relaxing, scenic 7 miles from the Post Office in Fredericksburg toward Mason on Hwy 87N. It takes about 10 minutes from Main Street.

We are approx 1.5 kilometer from Puerto Viejo. This is equal to about 1 mile. It is a gorgeous 20 minute walk along the sandy beach to town. And it is about 5-10 minutes by bike. Crimea has an efficient and regular running public transport system. We will provide you all the necessary information you need in order to get from your accommodation to the centre of the town that you are staying in.

Yes, the school is located near the seafront in the centre of Brighton and Hove, within easy walking distance of all the sights and high street shops.

It depends on how tight the deadline is. If you want a job delivered for 10am – no later, book it the day before and take advice from the telephonist on what time it needs to be ready. If the item just needs to get there that day, book it when it’s ready, or almost ready. There are peak times when delays will be higher, again ask the telephonist if there are any delays.

We are a five minute walk from the centre of Alleppey. There are also autoricksgaws that can be taken to get into centre of town and other shopping areas.

If you are looking for somewhere comfortable & friendly to stay away from the rush of downtown, where you can get a good night's sleep but still be close (2.5 km to city centre) to all Auckland has to offer then you are in the right place. We are on a bus route into the city ($1.50 fare per person each way) or it is approx-20-25 minutes walk.

A - We will book the closest centre for your group and will always keep the flow of the stag or hen weekend in mind when we place this part of your itinerary. The majority of resources we use mean that the journey time is usually under 40 minutes from your hotel, though sometimes this just isn't possible. In this type of scenario we will inform you of the distance before any money has changed hands.

The Islands (Cayes) are a short 30 minute flight from the local Airstrip which is 1/2 mile from our Jungle Resort. The International Airport is a one hr Transfer from us and the Local Town, Belmopan is just 5 minutes away.

Nuestro Sueño is located on top of a hill within 5 minutes leasure walk to the center of town and restaurants and 10 minutes walk to the beach.The beach is exactly located 0.6 mile from the house.

Vessels dock at terminals which are often situated outside the center of a town or city, so passengers usually have to take a taxi in. Photo below shows Papeete, Tahiti with freighters at their berths in the background.

Liverpool is 20 miles away, about a 30 minute drive. North Wales and Snowdonia are 20 miles away, about a 30 minute drive. Manchester is 35 miles away, about a 45 minute drive. Llangollen is 35 miles away, about a 40 minute drive. Anglesea is 45 miles away, about a 50 minute drive.

The nearest town is Buena Vista, a 15 minute drive from the ranch. Though a small town, you will find everything you need in Buena Vista including a grocery store, pharmacy and drug store, auto repair and tire shops, ATMs and a small discount store. Salida is about 25 minutes away where you will find a Wal-Mart.

Main campus Wagga Wagga is located approximately 7kms from the main shopping area. It is located in a rural environment and public transport is available to and from town most days of the week. Main campus Bathurst is located on the edge of town at the base of Mount Panorama. The main shopping area is approximately 3kms away.

The cabin is 20 miles away from the State Capital of Helena. Elliston, the local town,is ten miles from the cabin.
