Formatting a CF card erases all of the data on a CF card, including files, images and directory structures. Formatting a CF card may also repair a non-functioning card with corrupted data. Physical damage, faults or bad sectors cannot be fixed by formatting. It is not always necessary to format a CF card before using it in SD9 and SD10 cameras. It is entirely possible to share a CF card between different types of cameras or applications.

Scientists have many different ideas about what goes wrong in the lungs of a person with cystic fibrosis, but it all begins with defective CF genes. Normally, the healthy CF gene makes a protein—known as CFTR (Cystic Fibrosis conductance Transmembrane Regulator)—that is found in the cells that line various organs, like the lungs and the pancreas.

In the short term you can try using the application in Memory Stick replacement ("Replace MS") mode. In the long term, you should contact the developers of the application and ask them to add multi-volume support to their product.

The Pocket PC operating system is defaulted to turn off the device and screen light if not used for a period of time. To prevent disruption of watching video with the TV CF Card, please disabled these functions in the settings setup of the Pocket PC (please refer to your Pocket PC's operating manual).

Most memory cards will work. Although some cards will perform better than others (see the Media Card Compatability List for more details). For the M3 SD. most SD compatible cards will work, including Mini and Micro SD cards in adapter housings. You can fit approximately 32 high-resolution, 54 medium-resolution, or 102 low-resolution images on a typical 256MB card. Perhaps you might have pushed the volume control and activated mute. In the case, you will see a message ¡§Mute¡¨ on the top of the screen in portrait mode. Recording time will depend on both the memory capacity of the Compact Flash card, and the recording format being used. MP3 recording uses less memory on a Compact Flash card than Wav (PCM) recording. Also Mono recording in either recording format uses less memory. A typical 1 gigabyte compact flash card can allow over 35 hours of recording time when set to MP3 Mono recording. The same capacity card can allow over 3 hours when set to PCM Mono recording.

We naturally recommend the use of Olympus brand xD cards. The camera supports high-speed Compact Flash Cards both Type I and II, and Microdrives which gives the user a wide variety of choices in their media. SanDisk and Lexar CF cards as well as Hitachi Microdrives have been tested and are confirmed compatible.

Regardless of the File Numbering setting, the next image captured will be assigned the larger of 1) the next available number from the camera image counter or 2) one number greater than the highest numbered image already on the card. The reception quality is similar to a portable TV and a lot depends on the signal strength provided by your local television stations in the area. Good reception generally requires a direct line of sight between the TV broadcast station and the TV receiver.

The Toshiba e800 comes with user selectable Pocket PC standard of QVGA (320 x 240) as well as full VGA resolution of 640x480. However, the TV CF Card can only support the Toshiba in QVGA 320 x 240. This means that you can only get the EOps TV program in full screen view in 320 x 240. If you have setup the Toshiba e800 in VGA mode, the TV CF Card EOps TV program would be shown on the top left hand corner of the screen and occupies only a quarter of the screen.

Create a directory (Python22) in CF card. Copy all .exe .dll .pyd there. Copy Lib and other directory in it. Rename the Python (Python directory, PocketPCPython.exe, and .dll in you main memory for testing. Try the Python in CF card. If "import site failed" error occurs, copy site.py or site.pyc from Lib directory to Python22 directory.

CompactFlash® is a small, removable mass storage device. First introduced in 1994, CompactFlash cards weigh a half ounce and are the size of a matchbook. They provide complete PCMCIA-ATA functionality and compatibility. mm (1.7") x 36mm (1.4") x 3.3mm (0.13"), the CF Type I card's thickness is less than one-half of a current PCMCIA Type II card. It is actually one-fourth the volume of a PCMCIA card.

The Core Modules are shipped with a standalone version of the BLACKSheep. The BLACKSheep standalone version does not support peripherals. To get full access to the peripherals of your eval board you have to flash the Core Modules with the BLACKSheep version according to your baseboard, either the DEV-BF5xx or the EVAL-BF5xx.
