Rhode Island Family Literacy Initiative: Get InvolvedThe Family Literacy Program offers Citizenship preparation classes at Knight Memorial, East Providence and Cranston. RIFLI does not offer GED courses. The Lead ESL Teacher can refer you to a place that offers GED courses. This class may help prepare to enter a GED in the future. Do I have to have a library card to be in the program? No, but we encourage you to get one so that you can take out books and practice reading. It may be necessary to take out materials for class work.
