When you first open the Address Book, the default address book (usually your Global Address List) is displayed. You can change the default address book and also set other Address Book preferences, such as which address book to check first when sending a message. When composing a message do you select addresses from an address book or do you type them in? If you select from an address book, do you select either of the Recipients entries from the Show Names from the: drop-down in the upper right corner of the address book dialog? There are several reasons why people that have been converted to using Microsoft Outlook as their email client should not be using the Exchange server's address book. In order for the GroupWise address book to be sorted by last name, the last name column should be the first one that appears in the address book. Follow the steps below to make last name the first column. The name of each column in the address book will appear above the column and will have a grey back ground. Point at the first column name and click the right mouse button. After clicking More Columns, a screen will appear.
