A : For most residential applications, conventional methods of snow removal are acceptable (ie. shoveling or snowblowing). Paving stones can be shoveled and plowed the same as a concrete or asphalt pavement. The chamfered edges around the paving stones help to prevent the edges of the plow from hitting the comers of the stones. A plow with a rubber edge is preferred. Rock salt and calcium chloride will melt snow and ice, but they can also harm the paving stones.

Far and away, I recommend a product called "Goo Gone." Its available at retail outlets like K-Mart. It can be found in the cleaners section or sometimes in the automotive section. It is a citrus product and will not damage the card if used correctly (do not over-apply and allow to soak into the card). Others will tell you to use things like: rubbing alcohol, nail polisher remover etc. These things also work but may leave a dull spot on the card by removing some of the card coating.

DISCLAIMER: AutoAnything does not recommend removing dash trim kit pieces after install and will not be held responsible for any possible damage to your dash. While the dash kit piece is still warm pull on it (we do not recommend using screw drivers or any other metal tools - use your fingers and plastic objects). The Town's Public Works Department removes snow on Town streets only. Town streets are maintained by our Public Works Department. Your street, even though it is in the Town limits may be a DOT (Department of Transportation) street.

Our car interior and exterior trims product are designed to be permanent. It can be removed but you will need to install another trim on top.

Snow Angels is a social marketing campaign initiated by The City of Calgary, Seniors Services Division and Bylaw Services to raise awareness with the citizens of Calgary of the need to remember their neighbours when shovelling snow, especially if they're seniors or if they have health concerns that prevent them from clearing their own walks. Snow Angels is NOT a snow clearing program for seniors. It is a way to encourage people to be good neighbours.

You can become a Snow Angel by helping your elderly neighbours clear the snow off their sidewalks. Talk to your elderly neighbours. Offer to shovel the snow for them. Approach your community association to see if the community has a snow removal project or has considered developing a community based program to assist seniors.

There is no pay for being a Snow Angel. You get the satisfaction of knowing that you've made a difference in the life of a senior who will be able to stay in the house they love for a longer period of time.

According to the Streets Bylaw, residents are responsible for removing ice and snow from their sidewalks within 24 hours of a snowfall. If a sidewalk is not shovelled, The City can issue the resident a notice to clear the sidewalk. If the resident does not comply, The City will clear the sidewalk and a flat rate of $115 for all types of property will be charged for sidewalks that can be cleaned within one hour. Sidewalks are required, by ordinance, to be cleaned of snow and ice within a reasonable amount of time. The reasonable length of time is considered to be twenty-four (24) hours after the ending of a snowfall. If this is not done, the Public Works Department may have the sidewalk(s) cleaned and the property owner or resident billed for this service.

A:: There are certain skills (Pierce Armor, Piercing Strike, Mortal Wound, Assassinate) that can be employed to bypass armor and cause direct Body damage. Snow removal was done by High School custodians and Buildings and Grounds employees. It will be improved for the winter of 2006/2007 -- there were a few problems this past winter stemming from miscommunications between the two groups. In principle it can snow at any temperature below freezing. It snows at the South Pole even though the temperature is rarely above -40 C (-40 F). In more hospitable climates, however, it doesn't snow so much when the temperature is below around -20 C (-4 F). When a parcel of moist air cools, it starts producing snow before it gets that cold. By the time the temperature drops to -20 C, the snow has already fallen and the air is pretty dry.

The person to remove the existing carpet needs to be determined prior to the day of installation, whether it be yourself or the installers. Removing and hauling the old carpet and padding away will require an additional fee.
