The International Association for Continuing Education and Training awards CEUs for each of ESI's e-Training courses. To earn CEUs, you must complete all course requirements and pass the final exam (where applicable). The following CEUs are awarded for each e-Training course. Please note: the number of CEU credits noted below only apply to ESI's e-Training courses.

Students who are interested in earning university Continuing Education Units will pay for the cost of CEUs ($25 per CEU) to The University of Southern Mississippi (Southern Miss). Students will register and pay for the SEM Training through the Academy and pay for the CEUs separately to USM.

The MRC will provide the necessary documentation to accompany your request for CEUs, such as course objectives, completion certificates, etc. MRC volunteers will need to individually submit their request for CEUs to their discipline's state board for approval.

Yes. When you complete a continuing education credit course, it will appear on your official transcript under the title Special Topics. Please keep your syllabus if you need more detailed information regarding the class for recertification purposes, etc.

Some Continuing and Professional Education courses may count toward a degree. Others will not. The program you want to transfer the credit into decides whether or not they will accept your Continuing and Professional Education credit. This means that while one program may accept your credit, another program may not. If this is a concern for you, it is best to check with an advisor prior to registering for courses.

Yes. In order to earn continuing education units for attending Paris Orientation, you must verify with your school district that they will grant CEUs for EF???s 72 hour seminar. At the end of Paris Orientation, you will receive a certificate confirming your completion of EF???s 72 hour seminar for new Group Leaders that you can submit to your school administration. At the discretion of individual school districts, school administrators can then award credit to you.
