To resume playback press either the NEXT/VOL+ or the PREV/VOL- button. On the SwiMP3v2 just press the ON/OFF button again quickly.

Most of the time this is because your computer, though try as it might, just cannot process all the data necessary to redraw the picture 24-30 frames per second and manage the sound as well.
