If you accept an Offer of Service we will write to the NZ Defence Security Agency to request your current Security Clearance (if you have one) from your home country be transferred to New Zealand to cover you for a period of 1 year after enlistment. If you do not have a current Security Clearance in your home country you will need to wait until you are processed for a NZ Security Clearance.
