Spring Hill students who are 21 years of age are allowed to consume alcohol if they are in their rooms with the door closed or if they purchase alcohol at a College sanctioned event where a third-party vendor is present. Students under 21 who are found consuming or in the possession of alcohol will be sanctioned through the judicial system.

A computer room containing both PC and Macintosh computers is located in the basement of Child Hall. Only students who live in the GSAS Residence Halls have access to this lab. These connections, known as "ResNet jacks," provide access to the university???s network and the Internet at the speed of 100 mbps, roughly 300 times faster than a residential high-speed modem. To use the ResNet jack, your student will need to have a "10/100" Network Interface Card (NIC) in his/her computer and a CAT-5 network cable to connect the card to the ResNet jack.
