My MOm, had dibillitating rhuematoid arthritis for many yrs. I recently moved back, to her house, which has a water softener, for many yrs. The drinking water was diverted, many yrs back. My cat started having (thyroid) problems, and had been drinking, from the tub water, for a few monthes. I was wondering, if somehow, the water softener, may have contributed to my Mothers' rhuematoid arthritis and my cats, urinary and thyroid problems.

This can happen on some video drivers if you have 'Large Fonts' selected. Here's how to double check this. In Windows 95/98 click on Start - Settings - Control Panel. Then double click on the icon that says display. A box will pop up that says 'Display Properties' click on the tab that says 'Settings.' On this screen there is an area that says 'Color Palette.' In the area that says 'font size' there is a drop down selection box. If this box says 'Large Fonts' then change it to 'Small Fonts.

Bigger is better if you watch lots of movies. Bigger is also better if you will sit far away. A 50â?? screen may impress you if you sit 7 to 8 feet away. At 10 or 12 feet, the 55â?? or 63â?? screen sizes will impress you and your guests even more. How big is too big? HDTV programming still looks clear when you sit just a bit closer than 2x screen measurement. So on a 50-inch screen, HTDV seems big and clear when you are 7 or 8 feet away.
