Southwestern Colorado has two different reservations that you can visit. The Southern Ute Indian Reservation is just over 20 miles southeast of Durango. The second reservation, the Ute Mountain Ute Indian Reservation, is 60 miles west of Durango in Towaoc, CO. The Durango-La Plata County Airport (DRO) is a one-hour drive from the ranch. Delta, United, America West, US Airways, and Mesa Airlines provide service. We provide an airport transfer service for $25/person. We will provide the same transfer service for any accommodation in Durango. A map and specific driving instructions are provided in our written literature and on this website (location). The ranch is located 35 miles northeast of Durango, Colorado.

Some hotels provide airport shuttles and you can also use Durango Transportation (call 970-259-4818 for details). The Durango/La-Plata Airport is 19 miles outside of Durango.

It depends upon the cabin and holiday. Usually three to six months in advance if you have a particular cabin in mind. We do have folks that reserve twelve to eighteen months in advance.

It would seem self-serving to say: "As soon as you can" but as you can see, we usually only travel once a year to our destinations, and we only take small groups, so we recommend booking your reservation "As soon as you can."

You can book a campsite up to 5 months in advance of the date of your arrival. For example, if you are planning on camping from August 6 to 10, you can make your reservation as early as March 6. You can reserve a campsite up to five months in advance of the day of your arrival and you can book a site for up to 23 days. Therefore, some customers may have reserved earlier than you for extended stays so when you go in to book, the sites are already reserved.

You may request a reservation for the ACC up to one year in advance. Once you provide a signed contract and deposit, your reservation will be confirmed. Please review our Policies and Rates section for details.

One of the more frustrating problems facing a reptile keeper is snake mite infestation. These are reptile-specific ectoparasites that are not thought to be harmful to humans. They can be harmful to reptiles in that they can cause anemia, stress related anorexia, or possibly infection at the sites where the mites feed. It may be possible too that mites transmit other harmful illnesses such as Inclusion Body Disease or endoparasites.

It's generally best to give us at least a week (and up to 3 weeks during Spring & Fall) before you want to fly. But, if you have the urge to fly sooner, give us a call. We may just have an opening. Please remember that with only 2 possible flights a day, a weekend is quite short. Weekends do get booked up much earlier than weekdays. However, keep in mind that even if you get just the right date reserved, the weather may have different plans.

You can reserve an inflatable at anytime. Most of the time, we will have an inflatable available for your event, but, as the saying goes, the early bird gets the worm. If you would like a specific item, we recommend that you call as soon as you know the date of the event. The earlier you make your reservation the better your chances are at getting your first choice.

The sooner the better. A minimum of 24 hours in advance is required, but activities do sell out, so make yours as soon as you know that you want to take it. Plus, by booking early, you're locking in your rate, so if the prices go up, you are safe. The further in advance that you make a reservation, the more likely that you will be able to reserve for the dates you want. We work on a first-reserved, first-served basis. Our prime ski times (February and March) are often booked up weeks in advance. Reserve early to avoid disappointment!

The most popular dates are often booked over a year in advance. The majority of our brides reserve their day at least six months in advance. Please call us to check availability as soon as you are certain of your wedding date.

We are always taking reservations for equipment. The sooner you call the better. Most equipment during the summer season gets booked about 6 weeks in advance, if not more.
