Installing BatteryMateXP does not remove the standard Windows taskbar battery icon. The taskbar is the horizontal bar along the bottom of the Desktop. It has the Start button on the left. Displayed in small rectangles near the middle of the taskbar are the programs that are running. This is a very rare problem that is usually caused when you have had more than one camera driver installed on your computer. The first time you start LapBack a password window appears. In this window you can type in a password you would like LapBack to use for encryption of your backed up files. You can choose what password to use. Caution! If you encrypt your backup files, you should choose a password that is easy to remember. LapBack uses an AES256 (256-bit) or a 3 DES (168-bit) encryption, so if you forget your password, it will not be possible to restore your backup.
