The Shad-o-Box cameras will work with most standard digital frame grabbers. The frame grabber interface consists of 16 data lines, three timing outputs (pixel clock, hor. sync and vertical sync), a strobe input and four control I/O lines. No. Although digital cameras are convenient, you can scan your film camera negatives or prints and submit the files to Image Showcase. There is no denying the convenience of digital cameras and the turn-around time of the results they produce, but film cameras still have a lot going for them - especially if you have a large collection of images on film and are used to making images this way. The benefits of a film camera is that you can scan the negative to almost whatever digital size you like.

You need some way of getting a JPEG or GIF file (an image file) onto your computer. The image file can be on your desktop, your hard drive, a floppy, ZIP disk, CD, or any other "drive".
