How do I install the spoiler?
Spoilers Direct - FaqPlease look at our installation instructions page. Although our customers have had good results installing their spoilers themselves, we do recommend a professional installation by an Auto Body Shop. You are going to have to drill holes trough the metal of your car. But once again, many of our customers, especially those, who are handy with tools and measuring, do an excellent job installing their spoilers themselves.
Related QuestionsWhat is spoiler?
JodyJazz Frequently Asked QuestionsThe Spoiler is a patented invention. It adds volume (projection) and brightness to the mouthpiece. Spoilers consist of a wedge which creates a higher baffle giving the mouthpiece a brighter more cutting sound. Attached to the wedge is a small metal "reed" which actually vibrates when air is blown into the mouthpiece. This vibration disturbs the air stream causing more complex harmonics and creating more volume. This device slips easily in or out of the mouthpiece.

I've tried to put warnings on this site where there may be spoilers, particularly in The Bill section, as Aussie viewers are eighteen months behind us.

MT-NW Manual: Frequently Asked QuestionsThis is one feature that has been left out of MT-NewsWatcher 3.0. MT-NewsWatcher 3.0 now treats articles as MIME messages, so it can do all the cool MIME stuff like separate out inline binaries, detect HTML sections and so on. Unfortunately, spoiler characters don't fit nicely into this picture, as it would require the message to be split up in a way which makes no sense from a MIME perspective. This feature may reappear in an update to MT-NewsWatcher 3.0.
Related QuestionsA. How do you re-affix the spoiler down on the trunk?
Frequently Asked QuestionsMy trunk was rusted under the spoiler on each side. Additionally, my spoiler was corroded to the point where it was not going to use the same mounting techniques it did when it was stock. I first had a body shop take the spoiler off and fix the rust underneath for like $125. They put the spoiler back on, but the problem was not solved and it still did not seat well on the two ends, despite the double sided tape they tried.

I love the spoiler and here's how I use it: Normally I don't use it, but when I'm on a job that gets very loud, or a pop/rock/funk type of gig where I feel I need more edge and volume to my sound, then I put the spoiler in and it feels like a secret weapon. The spoiler is like having two mouthpieces in one.
