Decisions regarding offers are made as quickly as possible after reviewing the interviewers' comments. Candidates should expect to know their status within one to four days after their callback.

There is no definite answer to this question. You will be selected only if/when an investigator who has a position available visits the database and is impressed with your credentials. On or about May 15, those who have not been selected will be informed via e-mail. Remember, there is no central selection committee for this program.

We have a rolling admissions policy; in other words, we review applications throughout the entire year. After we have received all of the necessary information, it takes about 4 weeks to hear back regarding acceptance.

Winners of a National Championship Regatta (formerly called an Annual Class Championship Regatta) are entitled to display Gold colored chevrons on the hull or mainsail of the winning yacht. Winners of Regional Championship events display Red chevrons. Green chevrons may be worn by winners of annual recurring events: The Class Secretary or class owners association determines which event or events are eligible as Green Chevron Regattas.

During the peak application period (October to March) we attempt to notify you of our offer within 4 weeks of receiving your application. In certain cases, this can take slightly longer, for example if your GCSE grades do not fulfil our entry criteria or if the subjects you are studying are not considered appropriate for the programme you have chosen to study. In these cases we review your application alongside other factors such as relevant experience, study of Key Skills and predicted grades.

You should receive an email from CIEE within two to three weeks once your application is complete (all materials have been submitted to CIEE, and CIEE has received the Home School Nomination form from the Learning Abroad Center).
