Generally the families live within 15 minutes by bus from the school. Taxis are very inexpensive and also a convenient way to get to school. A lot of families live within walking distance, depending upon the country. Most of the schools are located only a short distance from the downtown area.

The Richmond Hill campus, where freshmen and sophomores live and study, is about 7 miles or 35 minutes by Tube. The Kensington campus, where juniors and seniors live and study, is right in the heart of central London.

We are the highest category Resort closer to downtown; we are only five minutes away from downtown of Puerto Vallarta .

Guests, we are conveniently located on Capital Hill, Seattle's most exciting neighborhood that also happens to be closest to the center of the city - Westlake Center (15 blocks). Seattle is 20 minutes North from the airport. You can walk downtown or take the #10 Metro bus.

A short 10 miles. Most hotels offer courtesy van service. Taxi cabs and public bus service is also available.

The Greater Rochester International Airport is conveniently located within a 10 minute drive of downtown Rochester and festival venues. Plenty of cabs and hotel shuttles are on site at the airport.

Some hotels provide airport shuttles and you can also use Durango Transportation (call 970-259-4818 for details). The Durango/La-Plata Airport is 19 miles outside of Durango.

It is around 30-45 minutes by car without traffic jam. It is more convenient to visit the Future Park. (See above question).

Jade Azul is the perfect location for those looking to relax in a serene, tropical environment. Previously called "Finca el Mono" (Monkey Farm), Jade Azul takes advantage of the lush jungle setting about 5-10 minutes outside of downtown Nosara. Jade Azul is close enough to Nosara to conveniently enjoy the hustle and bustle of the beach town, while making it easy to "escape" to your private retreat nestled in the jungle.

The exposition center is located at 937 Phillips Lane, Louisville, KY 40209. The facility gates are located off of Crittenden Drive, Phillips Lane and Preston Highway – all easily accessible from exits off of Interstate 65 and Interstate 264. The Piedmont Triad International Airport is 20 miles from downtown Winston-Salem and is easily accessible off Interstate 40. Smith Reynolds is located 10 minutes north of downtown.

It will take you several minutes to wind down Pinnacle Vista to get to Highway 321. From there, it is about 8 minutes to shopping, dining & all of Downtown Gatlinburg's attractions. During peak seasons and weekends - Gatlinburg is busy and it may take longer to arrive at your destination.

We are about three miles from essential areas of Sonora, and two-way public transportation is available.

Take the Kennedy (90) West to the Irving Park Road exit. Take the exit ramp all the way to Irving (crossing over Pulaski) and turn left. Head west on Irving 7 blocks to Cicero. Turn right on Cicero and park. City Newsstand is on the other side of the street, across from Sears.

If you are coming from overseas, most students book their airline flights to Nanaimo Airport - YCD through Vancouver International Airport - YVR. It is a 20 minute connecting flight serviced primarily by Air Canada. To get to Nanaimo from Nanaimo Airport takes about 20 minutes. If you have made Homestay/Peerstay arrangements, your family will meet you at the airport and take you back to your Homestay/Peerstay accommodations.

Another option is to take the BC Ferries from either Horseshoe Bay (West Vancouver) or Tsawwassen (South West Vancouver). These ferries take passenger, busses and cars.

The Elk Highlands homesites are just 1.3 miles from the Big Mountain village area and 7 miles from downtown Whitefish.

Both downtown San Diego and Lindbergh Field are approximately 35 minutes from Rancho Bernardo. During rush hour, depending on traffic, it can take slightly longer.

Royal Roads is a public university with a unique mandate to combine academic and professional programs. The University makes extensive use of online education and creative pedagogies in the delivery of its programs. For fifty years prior to Royal Roads' founding in 1995, it was the location of Royal Roads Military College, an officer training college for the Canadian armed forces.

Roncesvalles to Santiago is about 800 km i.e. 4-5 weeks walking or 2 weeks by bike. Seville to Santiago, on the Via de la Plata, is 1000 km, walkable in about 6 weeks. Le Puy to Roncesvalles is about 5 weeks walking, Vézelay similar. Paris to Santiago is 2000 km. Arles to Puente la Reina is about 900 km. For descriptions of all the routes, click here.

A recent report prepared by Nanaimo's Working Group on Homelessness Issues estimated that the number of visible homeless is between 20 to 25 people at any given time. A larger numbers of people are in danger of homelessness. Individuals in this group move from place to place in search of affordable housing and when they are unable to find a place to stay they arrive at our door.

Nanaimo has one of the mildest climates in Canada and is similar to Seattle or Vancouver. In the summer, average daytime temperatures are between 20 and 28 degrees Celsius. In the winter there is more rain, but the daytime temperatures are normally between 3 and 6 degrees Celsius.
