Living Cookbook can import Living Cookbook (LCX, LC2 and FDX), Meal-Master (TXT and MMF), MasterCook 4 (MXP), MasterCook 6 (MX2), MicroKitchen Companion (TXT), Pocket Express (CSV) and Recipe Processor 2000 (TXT) files.

Diet Pro can import Diet Pro (FDX, LC2 and LCX), Living Cookbook (FDX, LC2 and LCX), Meal-Master (TXT and MMF), MasterCook 4 (MXP), MasterCook 5/6 (MX2), Pocket Express (CSV) and MicroKitchen Companion (TXT) files.

Living Cookbook runs on Windows 95/98/2000/NT/ME/XP. Living Cookbook will run on a Mac running Virtual PC or similar PC emulation software.

PanOptic supports the industry standard TIFF format, as well as many other file formats. Some examples are the Microsoft Office product suite and PDF. PanOptic can store any file format. If the file format's native application is not installed on your workstation, PanOptic will prompt you to choose an application that can view that file format.

Thumbs currently supports .JPG as read by the Intel JPEG library and .MPG as read by DirectShow in Windows and .MOV/.QT/.PNG/.PSD/.TGA/.TIF/.SGI/.RGB/.BMP files as read by Quicktime.

MP3, WMA, OGG, AAC, ASF, MAC (Monkey Audio), FLAC. A lot of other mp* files are also supported. Many mpeg video files (such as mpeg, mpg, etc.) are also supported, where AudioManage indexes the audio stream of the video files. Winamp's M3U, as well as Windows Media Player's WPL playlists are fully supported. Any folder or playlist (which are treated like folders) can be dropped to any other application or location, and converted to playlists.

Lightbox contains support for browsing over 150 file formats, including image file formats, digital camera RAW formats, video file formats, audio file formats, web file formats, and document file formats. Lightbox creates visual thumbnails for most of these 150 file formats. Where it is not able to create a visual thumbnail, Lightbox displays the associated icon for this file format on your computer.

The software supports a wide variety of common file formats, such as JPEG (jpg), GIF, BMP, PNG, RGB and several RAW formats.

UWEonline accepts teaching and learning content in a wide range of formats. Some of the more popular formats include a web page (HTML), Microsoft Word documents, PDF documents and PowerPoint presentations. Although each of these formats has its own strengths and weaknesses, there are some basic issues a tutor should bear in mind when selecting the format for their teaching and learning materials. DTE supports the most popular NLE file formats in today's market. These include; AVI type 1 & 2, QuickTime, Raw DV and OMF for Avid. There are also special versions of AVI that support Canopus and Matrox. What FireStore basically does, is take a raw stream of DV video from a source and packages it into a file format that a DV NLE system can understand. The streams are packaged into individual files with header information that can be used in various DV NLE systems.

We are planning to support .wav files in a future release. We are considering supporting various other formats, but most charge outrageous licensing fees for their use. We currently have no plans to support .wma or .mp3Pro.

Java Sound supports the following audio file formats: AIFF, AU and WAV. It also supports the following MIDI based song file formats: SMF type 0 (Standard MIDI File, aka .mid files), SMF type 1 and RMF. The Java Sound engine can render 8 or 16 bit audio data, in mono or stereo, with sample rates from 8KHz to 48KHz, that might be found in streaming audio or any of the supported file formats.

To add a recipe to Your Cookbook, you must first be a Registered User. (See "How to Register") Next, you need to have that recipe's detail page displayed. Click the "Add to Your Cookbook" icon at the top of the recipe.

To remove a recipe from Your Cookbook, simply click on the "Remove" icon located beneath the recipe title. You will be asked to confirm the deletion, select "OK" to remove the recipe.

All that is required to support a custom file format is a Windows print mechanism, and an ability to load and print the original file via command line arguments or scripting (DDE) commands.

We use a PC to RIP files for print production. If files are produced on MAC; please make sure fonts have been outlined and files are made to PC format. SafeAssign supports Word (DOC). Plain text (TXT), Rich text format (RTF), PDF, and HTML formats. We anticipate supporting Office 2007 file format in the future.

Right now Alice only supports its own files (*.a2c) and "ASCII Scene Export" (*.ASE) files. Here are the steps for saving out a model from 3DStudio MAX. There is a free ASE converter, Biturn, available. We have not tested it out ourselves, so please let us know your results if you try it out! You can post to our forums. The Stand-Alone version only supports JPG files, but the Photoshop plug-in supports the file formats that Photoshop (or another hosts such as Paintshop Pro, etc) supports.

The file formats not supported by HV355 include OGG, OGM, ASF, WMV, WMA, MP4, MOV, RMVB, MKV, MKA, and 3GPP. When playing video files with HV355, the screen sticks on a specific frame of some file and unable to execute further operations. If this phenomenon happened each time on the very same section, it is probably caused by bad sectors on the HDD. Please connect the HDD to a computer to check and repair this file.

EMAN supports a lot of different formats, and it does it transparently. That is, in general, all EMAN program can read any image in a wide variety of formats without you having to do anything special. EMAN currently supports reading SPIDER, IMAGIC, MRC, HDF5,Gatan DM2, Gatan DM3, PIF and ICOS formats. TIFF images are now natively supported using libtiff. You should now be able to directly read 16 bit tiffs. Most generic image formats like TIFF, GIF, PGM, BMP, PNG, etc.

ThemeMatic allows you to create site pages with ANY file extension (including, but not limited to .html, .htm, .php, .dhtml, .rhtml, .asp, etc). You can import your keyword lists in CSV (comma-separated value list) format, tab-separated format, or just plain text (.txt) format.
