You will see all your mailboxes listed there, and there is a text link beside which label "Coufigure Outlook Express". Click on the link and follow the instructions (Yes and ok) and that will configure your mailbox to your Outlook Express Automatically. You will be asked to key in password for the first time you start your Outlook Express after running the script.

Your email address will be your Outlook username followed by @bsu.edu If your username is jdoe, your email address will be jdoe@bsu.edu

If you wish to send and receive e-mail on your Custard It Ltd server, you will need to configure your e-mail software to do this. We have used Microsoft Outlook Express for the purposes of this example. When you take out one of our virtual servers you are given at least one POP (Post Office Protocol) account, this is where all e-mail sent to you is located.

Here are notes on setting up MS Outlook for email access under MS Windows 95 or 98. We will use, in this outline, an example user named John Smith with a mail account name of smith@rxn.com and a dialup PPP account name of Psmith. You will need to substitute your own account names. Display Name will appear. Delete the name that comes up in this box. Enter the name in which you would like your account to be set up under. By deleting this original field you are NOT deleting this account, just the viewable name. Enter additional email address( username@metc.net) along with password that was provided to you.
