Tufts contracts with MacGray to provide convenient, self-service laundry for Tufts students in university residences. The laundry areas feature Maytag machines, which are available to residents 24/7. The machines accept coins as well as Vending Points, accessible through the vending stripe on the back of your Tufts ID. A discount is provided for students who use Vending Points. Top loading washers are being replaced throughout campus with energy efficient front loaders.

NEC has a joint 5-year double degree program with Tufts University. At the completion of this program, the student earns a Bachelor of Music degree from NEC and a Bachelor of Arts degree form Tufts. Tufts offers double degree students the opportunity to major in any area except music and engineering. Students interested in the 5-year program must apply and be admitted to each school, filing separate applications.

If you are applying to either the BFA degree program or the BFA in Art Education degree program, you should send your application to the SMFA; the SMFA will then render a decision on your application. If you are applying to the Combined Degree program, you must apply to both the Museum School and to Tufts; you will then receive a decision letter from each school.

While you cannot take classes at Tufts, you can take Art History and English courses offered at the Museum School and taught by Tufts faculty for an additional cost. However, degree students are given priority when registering for academic classes.

This will probably happen in the future. I started making the rpms for libferris' dependancies well before Fedora started. There are many rpms that I have for the dependancies for libferris and it will take a while to feed them into the mainline Fedora project. Security updates, bugfix updates, and new feature updates will all be available, through Red Hat and third parties. Updates may be staged (first made available for public qualification, then later for general consumption) when appropriate. In drastic cases, we may remove a package from The Fedora Project if we judge that a necessary security update is too problematic/disruptive to the larger goals of the project.

Red Hat will initially focus on the x86 family of architectures. Red Hat may also choose to build Fedora Core for other architectures, and in doing so will focus on architectures in which it has a business interest. This will make it easier to identify and fix bugs; the sooner they are found, the easier it is to isolate the change that caused the bug and therefore the easier it is to fix. Other community members are welcome to participate in building for other architectures.

Fedora Core will not be sold through the retail channel as a shrinkwrapped box. There is no list price for Fedora Core. The rapid development pace we expect for Fedora Core doesn't suit retail distribution — it is a lot of work to get a box product in and out of the channel, and retail isn't set up to efficiently handle software that is updated as often as every six months.
