Mckoi implements version 3 of the JDBCTM specification. JDBC version 3 is a part of Java 2 (runtime version 1.4 and greater). Note that the Mckoi JDBC driver is backwardly compatible with all runtime versions of Java 2. The vast majority of applications support Path Finder with absolutely no compatibility problems, but some applications go one step further and had special integration built in.
