A STD 020 call is charged in blocks of 10-cent unit. Each unit allows for a certain amount of talktime. The talktime allowed depends on the town/city called. STD 020 calls made to mobile phones in Malaysia are charged based on the charge district that the mobile phone is registered in. For example, if the mobile phone number called is registered in the Penang charge district, you will be billed at the STD 020 rate for a call to Penang even if the called party is at Sabah.

If the caller dials 7 digits from overseas, a recorded message will notify the caller of the new 8 digits number. The caller will then need to dial the 8 digits number for the call to be connected. Singtel STD 020 is not offered because it is charged in a different way from IDD services and there will be large discrepancies in the internal billing. We recommend that you use the Singtel 019 IDD service for economical calls to Malaysia.

The difference is that there will not be any PIN given to the customer at the time of purchase. The PIN & expiry date is delivered directly via SMS to the mobile phone specified by you during your online purchase. The display of the overseas' caller's ID depends on the foreign service provider. If the foreign service provider does not forward the caller's ID to Singtel our IPTel phone will not display the number.

Yes. Supposed you are working with another department A. First, approach the Phone Administrator of department A to activate for you. You will be given a charge code for your IDD calls. Enter this charge code when you make IDD calls. The costs of the IDD calls will then appear in the IPTel bill of department A.

Telcom1515 Fax Premium is recommended for fax transmissions. You can make IDD calls using Telcom1515 Fax Premium. However, you will be paying higher rates because we offer premium quality line for fax transmissions. We would recommend you to use Telcom1515 Biz to make IDD calls.

Video IDD calls to 76 operators in 38 countries will be charged US$0.0067 per second (equivalent to US$0.40 per minute) for Video IDD calls originating from the Philippines. Per-second Video IDD charging to the 38 countries will not require the subscriber to register or to utilize a special dialing string or sequence.
