Cave divers usually make good wreck divers, but the reverse usually isn't true. It is a logical assumption that since the wreck lies in over 12,500 feet of water, and the decent of bodies would have been gradual, many of the victims would likely have come to rest some distance from the remains of the ship itself. This was certainly not the case for all of the victims.

If the wreck is not "protected" you may remove artifacts. There are certain protected shipwrecks in Massachusetts Bay. All wrecks within state waters are protected unless they appear on the "exempt" list. When diving in Massachusetts State waters (within 3 miles of shore) some shipwrecks are classified as "exempt" from issuance of permits.

Crash happens. You can avoid crashing by riding within your limits, pitting when you get tired, and not pushing too hard to keep up with or pass someone going faster. Founded in 1999 as a coproduction of YABA* and T-Hunts.com, the YABA Treasure Hunt has grown from 85 players in its first year, to 312 in 2003. A second alcove off the Main Salon houses the Treasure Room, which displays many of the Club's rarest and most interesting artifacts.
