If there is an active Org Default Labor Schedule, the pay will be distributed from that schedule. If there is no Org Default Labor Schedule, the distribution is sent to suspense. If the end date of the work study program is not the end date of the pay period, the remaining days in the pay period are sent to suspense or the Org Default Labor Schedule if you have one.

LD does NOT determine whether an employee will be paid. The HRMS record determines the pay for all salaried employees, while the HRMS and OTM entry determines the pay for all hourly employees. LD distributes the pay only if there is pay to distribute.

If you displace into a lower class, that is considered a voluntary demotion and you receive step status. For example, if you are on Step 3 of a Senior Typist Clerk and you bump to an Intermediate Typist Clerk, you will be placed on Step 3 of the Intermediate Typist Salary Schedule. Effective 7/1/06, the beginning salary for a teacher with a Bachelor's Degree is $31,149. The salary schedule tops out at $63,960 for a PhD/EdD.
