Section G.5: Can someone list accidents involving nuclear submarines?
sci.military.naval FAQ, Part G - SubmarinesThis question is often asked, but nobody can give a complete answer. The details of nuclear submarine accidents are generally highly classified. Anybody who knows the details of an accident isn't (or shouldn't be) talking. In many cases the details of an accident may not be known at all, as it's hard to know what caused the loss of a submarine that simply vanished. Most information about submarine accidents is taken from newspaper and magazine articles, friend-of-a-friend stories, and the like.

Related QuestionsHow are traffic accidents involving trucks different from accidents involving passenger cars?
Frequently Asked Questions about Truck AccidentsAccidents involving trucks are typically more catastrophic than accidents involving cars due to the shear size of a truck. A typical fully loaded large commercial truck can weigh 80,000 pounds or more, while an average passenger automobile weighs approximately 3,000 pounds. Related QuestionsWHAT IS THE BIGGEST FACTOR INVOLVING BICYCLE ACCIDENTS?
Frequently Asked QuestionsCity studies show that the single most common factor in bicycle accidents is that bicyclists ride on the wrong side of the streets. The reason for these accidents occurring is that when vehicles are turning at intersections and bicyclists are riding the wrong way, drivers do not see the oncoming bicyclist because they are not expecting them to be traveling in the opposite direction (against traffic flow). Therefore, bicyclists should ride with traffic and not against traffic.
