TICOS is a new tourism industry wide service formed to support the initiative by tourism industry associations to address the industry's need to respond to the growing threat to climate change from carbon and other green house gas emissions. It will consist of both a carbon reduction programme and a carbon offset service. It is available to any tour operator or travel agent member of any tourism industry association. TICOS will operate to a new industry standard of due diligence.
