There are two airports on Maui, Kahului International Airport and Kapalua Airport. Kahului is the primary airport, with international and mainland domestic flights arriving daily. However, Kapalua is a great option if you are traveling inter-island from Oahu, and plan to stay in the Kapalua, Napili or Lahaina areas.

The amount of time needed to secure your Maui activities varies greatly. If it is a small group or a honeymoon couple, you may not need to book too far ahead. However, many of the most popular activities sell out in advance. In addition, many travelers would rather not spend their Maui vacation in front of a concierge desk, deciding which Maui activities to do.

The deposit needed to secure your booking with most Maui tour companies varies between 15-25% of the gross amount of the tour. Smaller deposits will sometimes be permitted with large groups. In the summer, we get a south swell so there are many spots that break very consistently along the west coast. Lahaina, Launiopoko, along the Pali highway, Maalaea, Cove Park in Kihei are typically good spots. In the winter, the north shore is usually excellent - Honolua Bay and S-turn in the Kahana area, and Hookipa and Paia usually going off.

Maui Meadows is located in the foothills of Haleakala on the south side of Maui, directly above the Wailea Resort.

After the final payment is received, a confirmation letter showing payment in full will be sent to you with entry instructions and a map to the reserved property. We purchased our Maui Kamaole condo home in March 1999 after spending a lot of time comparing Maui Kamaole to many of the other south Maui condo resorts - Kamaole Sands, Maui Banyan, Hale Kamaole, Kihei Akahi, Maui Parkshore, Menehune Shores, Kihei Surfside, Mana Kai and several others. While nice, many of these other Maui condos are multi-story condo buildings with several other floors of units above and below you. Maui Kamaole, the buildings are spaced apart with only 2 levels of units.

You can resume your normal activities immediately but you should avoid sun exposure, which is always a good idea.

Well, just about anything you want to do. The BMC is genetically very athletic and eager to please. Given proper guidance and training, a BMC can excel in just about any activity you could imagine. They can herd animals, track or trail game, pull weights, run in a coursing event, work as a Search and Rescue dog, or anything else a smart, athletic dog that wants to please its owner can do.

A number of activities and exercises will be described / taught by your physical therapist. These are primarily aimed at regaining your range of motion and strength.
