The Honor Roll is unveiled each year to coincide with Municipal Clerks Week as designated by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. In 2007, Municipal Clerks Week is April 29 - May 5 and the 2007 Municipal Clerks Honor Roll will be posted on-line beginning April 29, 2007.

There are two Honor Roll categories. The Honor Roll is achieved by working a number of entities equal to the top ten of the overall current country count. For example, if there are 336 current entities on the DXCC list, the number needed for Honor Roll is 327. Deleted entities do not count towards the Honor Roll. There is no certificate for the Honor Roll. An Honor Roll sticker is provided for the mode for which Honor Roll was achieved, Mixed, Phone, CW and/or RTTY only.

The Honor Roll is an annual list of America’s Top 50 Catholic high schools, judged on the criteria of academic excellence, Catholic identity, and civic education. The list is published and publicized nationally, and is a resource for parents, schools, and donors. A school’s placement on the Honor Roll distinguishes it as one of the finest schools in the nation.

To update or change a name on the Fundraising Honor Roll, find the person whose name you want to change in your uploaded Address Book, click on the edit link and make the necessary changes. One you have made the changes, click save and the changes will then appear on the Fundraising Honor Roll.

Students who answer 80% of questions right in a week will be on the honor roll. They are ranked by the total amount of time they use in the exercises. For instance, the student who used the least amount of time is awarded the 1st place blue ribbon. Note that this honor roll system is different from the conventional score ranking that showed in the score percentile column. The blue ribbon winner is not necessarily the highest scorer. He is the fastest with 80% or more correct.

Since the Honor Roll’s inception in 2004, schools have found that the Honor Roll is a great incentive for improvement. To aid this, all applicant schools receive a detailed, comprehensive assessment offering feedback and detailing its strengths and weaknesses. By using the power of incentives and competition, the best schools are highlighted to inspire imitation and encouragement among all schools.

Most schools that do not apply are unaware of the existence of the Honor Roll. Even though all Catholic high schools in the USA are invited to apply, some may not have heard about this initiative or received our application packets in the spring. However, each year has seen a steady increase in the number of schools applying, and as word spreads we do expect more schools to participate.

The Honor Roll is an independent project of the Acton Institute in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a non-profit international education and research organization. It is administered under the guidance of a survey expert and a distinguished Advisory Board of Catholic college presidents and noted Catholic scholars.

LSAIT will be deploying Office 2007 and IE 7 to the staff of the college beginning June 19th. We expect to have all work completed by mid August. a constructive competition, the Honor Roll is designed to recognize and encourage excellence in Catholic education (no school receives negative mention). Catholic high schools are encouraged to educate students as effectively as possible in a way that integrates the Catholic Faith and prepares students for active engagement in the world as political, religious, and business leaders.

Schools can apply for the Honor Roll by completing three surveys during the application period each spring. All Catholic high schools in the U.S.A can apply. A set of surveys is sent to all Catholic secondary schools (approximately 1,300) across the United States. The surveys’ questions are designed to gauge the schools’ levels of quality in the areas of academics, Catholic identity, and civic education.

A common misconception about the Honor Roll is that it is an academic competition for Catholic schools. Academic excellence is important, but it is only one of the three categories we measure. There are many schools with strong academic reputations that, because they are not as strong in other categories, do not place on the overall Top 50 list.

We are frequently asked this question by alumni and parents and the answer is almost always the same: the school did not apply for consideration. We know there are many fine schools throughout the country, and realize that the Honor Roll, like any similar instrument, is just one measure of a school's achievement.

Yes, schools not affiliated with either a diocese or a religious order are still able to teach and form students in the Catholic faith. Under canon law, an independent school, which is usually operated by a lay board, must have the approval of the local bishop in order to be able to formally call itself a Catholic school.

Certainly.  The attainment of scholastic honors should be available to all students based on the same set of criteria; and if the criterion applied is simply the grade received without respect to the nature and level of difficulty of the course, then a grade achieved in any course in the same subject by any student should be considered equal. They can be.  Graduation requirements must be addressed by the IEP team.

To join it is a mark of full belonging, an assertion of your right to membership and an agreement to take responsibility for the life of the parish community. It is an important thing.
