In order to get to GroupWise remotely from home you'll have to go through GroupWise Web access which is basically like an interactive web page. The address for the page is http://groupwise.faytechcc.edu and from there it will ask you to pick a language and prompt you for your username and password. Your username will be the same as the one you use to log in to Novell (for example " stevensm " and your password will be the one you set in GroupWise.

The GroupWise properties can be modified so that when the icon is clicked, a box appears that allows the user to enter their GroupWise username and password. If you use AOL, minimize your AOL window and start Internet Explorer to go to your Palomar College e-mail account. For security purposes some suspicious files are not allowed in our system. Yes, you can check your email from anywhere around the world using our VIF Email interface. However, if you have configured your email reader to download all your emails automatically, you will only have access to the new messages, the old one being located on your home computer.

After registering, you are given a DAS account. The DAS username will allow you to access your student email and remotely access the McGill network by modem to connect to McGill-restricted resources.
