The easiest way to distinguish between Regular 8mm and Super 8mm film is to look at the location of the perforations in relation to the frames. Regular 8mm film was produced from 1932 to the 1990's. It's popularity declined 1965 with the introduction of Super 8mm. On Regular 8mm film the perforations are between the frames. Super 8mm film was introduced in 1965 and in 1973 became sound enabled with the addition of a magnetic sound stripe.

I recommend a book called The Ultimate Hollywood Tour Book by William A. Gordon. Also, Google is an excellent tool. You might also try looking up your movie or TV show at the Internet Movie Database, then selecting "Filming Locations" on the left. Odds are, using a combination of those resources is exactly how I would find your location.

orb is what we believe to be a ghostly entity on film. It's caused by the spirit drawing itself together into some sort of cohesion creating a cold spot at times. This occurs rapidly and is often only caught by photography but not visible to the naked eye. The differences can be tricky. You must be aware of all conditions that can create false orbs, (reflective bounce back, dust being stirred up, water particles in the air, etc).

Emulsion deterioration results from fungus, mold, and mildew. Micro organisms are attracted to the organic part of the film emulsion. The higher the humidity, the more likely to have this type of problem (>60% - tropics, or storage in attics and basements are especially a problem). Fungus and mold are normally found on the film emulsion side. Left unattended, the fungus and mold continue to grow, and will eventually destroy the emulsion.

The big advantage to the medium resolution is that the file sizes are approximately half the size and thus have quicker downloads and take up less drive space. Most pocketbikes use 2-stroke engines. There are two different types of 2-stroke engines in use on pocketbikes: These engines are used on '47cc' pocketbikes. The carburetor connects to the crankcase. On one end of each APS cassette, there is a tab and four holes. There is also a white indicator that appears under one of those holes to indicate the status of the roll. If the indicator appears in the fourth position, i.e., the hole that is square and marked with the number "4", it has already been processed. Another sign that the roll has already been processed is if the tab has been pushed in.
