In order for a degree to be considered as coming from a particular institution, half of that degree should be earned at the granting institution. As a result, the MAGL Committee maintains a transfer credit policy that allows for a maximum of 36 quarter units to be transferred into the 72-unit MAGL program.

Yes. For the Master's Degree and Education Specialist Certificate, the College of Education may accept a maximum of six credits of graduate work from an accredited university. Certain conditions may apply. Transfer of credit to the Doctoral program varies based upon previous graduate work. In all cases, a Request for Transfer of Credit form must be completed and approved. Consult an advisor for specific issues in transfering credit and for the request form (see the last question).

No. Spertus requires that a minimum of 45 credits be registered and successfully completed through Spertus.

Applicants with less than the equivalent of 4.0 credits may apply for the concurrent programs and may be admitted if there is space available and the admission requirements are met. However, these programs are designed for students attending Brock from the beginning of their post secondary career.

All applicants should indicate the academic quarter in which they wish to start their MAGL studies. This will be taken into account in processing applications. Yes, MAGL applicants may also apply to study at Fuller Seminary for the Certificate of Christian Studies (a six-course, 24-unit program). All students transferring into the IS major must complete at least 12 credit hours in IS courses taken at the University of Nevada, Reno, not including IS 101 and 301 in order to qualify for graduation. We will evaluate transcripts from other accredited institutions for transfer credit. Official transcripts need to be forwarded directly from your institution to Lansbridge University, along with complete course descriptions. Assessment cannot begin until all transcripts, supporting documents, and fees have been received. Following this, assessment normally takes one to two weeks to complete and from foreign institutions the process may take up to three weeks.

Individual participants must check with the receiving University to determine if credits will transfer. It is recommended that participants contact their University to discuss the specifics of credit transfer before taking a PLN seminar or workshop series. You may transfer up to 42 credits of studio art into the Diploma program. These credits can include, but are not limited to, courses taken through our Continuing Education department.

No. Students are required to complete the IEMBA curriculum in a lockstep structure. The program does not offer electives.

Only credits that have not been used as part of a completed degree program can be transferred into a SDUIS program. The maximum number of transferable units for the BA program is 135-quarter units, for the Masters programs 8-quarter units, and for the Doctoral programs the allowance is 45-quarter units. Residency refers to classes taken while enrolled at SDUIS. For online degrees, residency can also mean classes taken physically at our San Diego campus.
