Annual gifts of $1,000 or more are recognized on our Friends of Thurston Arthritis Research Center donor wall in the lobby of the center as well as the Medical Foundation of North Carolina’s Annual Report. Donors who give $1,000 or more annually are considered members of the Thurston Club and the Co-Founders of the Medical Foundation of North Carolina.

Some clubs hold an audience vote for 'Best Speaker', 'Best Table', Topic Speaker', and 'Best Evaluator' during the meeting. As well, it is a common occurance for clubs to award certificates of achievement at regular intervals, and opportunities to compete in contests and speaking engagements are always encouraged and recognized.

A Certificate of Completion is awarded to students who meet both grade and financial requirements to graduate.

For 15 or 30 weeks of study, the student receives an official letter that states the months of study and his grade. For a year of study, the student receives the official letter and a diploma of participation.

Winners will be announced at Technology Managers Forum's annual fall conference, Security Forum, held each October in New York City. Winners will be invited to send one representative to the event for free. Winners and judges are invited to a dinner the night before the Security Forum event. We do publicize the winners and why they won and issue a press release through the business wires and encourage winners to issue their own press releases.

Yes! VNAA CHAMP is a national program that aims to dramatically improve homecare practice. Upon completion of the course, we will provide you with a template press release that you may use in your local media community. Your agency will be highlighted in our VNAA Member Update and website. In addition, your agency will receive completion certificates and recognition items that include the designation of your agency as a “CHAMP Agency”.

Finishers of the Honors Program receive a medallion during a special Medallion ceremony the semester they graduate. The medallion may be worn during the commencement exercises. Finishers also have the phrase "Completed Requirements of Liberal Studies Honors Program" noted on their transcripts.

We are keen to support students who participate regularly in the program. Some of the opportunities we are hoping to offer to regular participants include guaranteed places in other Business Advantage activities; involvement in working groups developing modules and activities; co-facilitating some programs; acting as mentors for other participants; invitations to internal and external events, seminars and networking activities.

Cadets who achieve at least a 3.0 GPA are recognized by the Dean of the Faculty and wear a small silver star on their uniform. Cadets who are recognized for achievement in military performance by the Commandant of Cadets wear a silver wreath.
