How thick is the steel?
FAQSteel thickness is measured in 'gauge'. The lower the gauge number the greater the thickness. Pioneer uses 14 to 26-gauge Galvalume steel. We'll recommend a heavier gauge (lower number) steel to someone constructing their building in an area of heavy snowfall or high winds. The thicker steel provides additional protection from such forces.
