Not normally. Even with the GS's RGB monitor connector, the GS puts out a 15Khz horizontal refresh signal. Most modern monitors (notable exceptions are the old NEC Multisync 1 and 2 monitors) require the signal to be at least 30Khz, and thus won't display the picture. If you have a question on whether a given monitor will work, check the manual for it or contact the manufacturer to see if it'll support 15Khz horizontal syncs.

Adobe RGB offers some advantages, but also some pitfalls if you don't know what you're doing. Here are the advantages: Adobe RGB has a wider gamut and can therefore encode a wider range of colors, allowing you to display a wider range of colors on devices that are compatible and able to display these colors. You will need to use an application that is colorspace aware (and you will need to understand how to use that application properly).

There are lots of different montors around, but most of those monitors use standard analogue video interfaces so they can be connected to PC video card with only quite small modifications (correct cable and possibly some simple electronics). Nowadays the modern VGA cards are quite freely programmable devices and in most cases it is possible to make the VGA card to send out correct signals for the monitor at least in one screen resolution.

In general, no. Apple's 3.5" drive has logic to sense which machine it is hooked up to (Apple II or Macintosh) and it works accordingly. Most 3rd party drives don't bother to put in Apple II support in their drives. The Mac monitors cannot be used with the ][ line, not even the GS. Some may work if you hook them up to a UDC instead of an Apple 3.5" card. Old style Mac 800k drives are very slow.

Gradekeeper is available for both Windows and Macintosh and classes created on one platform can be opened on the other. The Mac OS X version of Gradekeeper can open any class that has the .grk file extension by choosing Open from the File menu. For Mac OS X, you can use Get Info in the File menu to specify that Gradekeeper should open all files with the .grk file extension. When you create classes on a Macintosh, always add the .grk file extension.

OS 7.5 (and later) systems have two monitor energy-related control panels. Energy Saver 1.0 places an external ENERGY STAR-compliant monitor into sleep mode. Graphic design programs allow you to design in different color spaces. The RGB color space refers to the primary colors Red, Green and Blue used in computer monitors, video cameras, and televisions. If you are designing images to be viewed in these mediums (like images for a webpage), then working in the RGB color space is fine.
