The default sort ordering sorts letters according to their ordinal number in the ISO Latin alphabet. As a consequence the lowercase letters appear before the uppercase letters. To sort them case-insensitively use the command This module defines the appropriate sort rules for the letters 'A-Z' for latin-based alphabets.
